A group of 6 from World Harvest Church of Roswell, GA were joined by a team of 3 from Sao Paolo, Brazil.
After being joined by a team from Sao Paolo, Brazil, we took our first stop to the Mlambe Hospital in Blantyre, Malawi. There we were able to donate medical supplies and were given a tour of the facilities to see the opportunities we have to continue sowing into that region. Seeing that much of the equipment in the hospital was either missing, broken or 50 years old, we know that there is much work to do! Shortly after, we traveled to Phalombe, Malawi to begin our week of ministry and revival. Each day, the men on our team lead meetings for the Phalombe men where they trained them in evangelism, and edified them through teachings. The women were empowered through the teachings of Isabel Johnson as she led workshops on sewing, crocheting and cooking.
Each day that we were in Phalombe, we joined the women who feed the BCV children daily at the Miracle Outreach Church. We brought games, prizes, and food to the kids as we sang, danced and played with them. We taught them about our Father, His love for them and the plan He has for their lives. It was truly a special trip where our relationships with the people of Phalombe were strengthened and God’s goodness and mercy followed us each step of the way. Hundreds of people gave their lives to Christ! Hallelujah! We were able to see the Girl’s Dormitory Building Project and we are excited about the work that has been done. But the task is not yet complete! We are very excited to share that the foundation of the Girl’s Dormitory is complete and we are now moving on to adding the walls and roof for the building. We won’t be able to do this without support from people like you! Take a few minutes to look at some of the photos from our trip!
